The adinkra symbol above is aya, which literally means fern, and represents strength, endurance, and resourcefulness.

I challenge you to take a good look at this symbol and think about some geometrical concepts that we have covered (translation, rotation, reflection, etc.). Describe how you can use aya to demonstrate transformations.
